### What is Channel3?

Channel3 is building a database of every product on the internet. Developers use the Channel3 API to build AI shopping apps and agents — smart recommendation engines, visual search tools, autonomous purchasing agents, and more.

### How does pricing work?

Each API call costs one credit. You get 1,000 free credits per month, and additional credits cost \$0.007 each. See [Pricing](/guides/pricing) for details.

### How do commissions work?

Channel3 has partnered with thousands of brands who pay when sales are driven through the platform. The commission is split between Channel3 and you.

### What geographies are supported?

Channel3 supports locale-aware search for physical products, starting with the U.S. and expanding across select international markets. Set `country`, `currency`, and `language` on the SDK client or per-request to filter by locale.

### How do I authenticate?

Set the `CHANNEL3_API_KEY` environment variable or pass `apiKey` directly to the SDK client. See the [Quickstart](/guides/quickstart) for setup instructions.

### What SDKs are available?
